Virtual Conversation with Judith Heumann and Crip Camp Film Screening

On Wednesday, April 22, 2020, Pennsylvania Inclusive Higher Education Consortium in partnership with Disability Equality in Education will be hosting a virtual conversation with one of the most influential disability rights activists in US history Judith Heumann who will introduce a virtual screening of the new disability rights film – Crip Camp. The movie screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion with Judith.

The lifelong advocate for the rights of disabled people, will also share her newly published book “ BEING HEUMANN An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist”. The book recounts Judy Heumann’s lifelong battle to achieve respect, acceptance, and inclusion in society and tells  about her personal story of fighting for the right to receive an education, have a job, and just be human.
